Subtle Modernity in a Stunning Duplex
The duplex was brand new from the contractor, and right from the start, we understood from the clients that they wanted a significant facelift. Together, we defined the clients’ main desires. Their design principle included creating a spacious public area, and the design ethos was intriguing; to quote them: “We want a modern apartment, but the modern of the past.”
To fulfill this wish, we decided to incorporate many primary colors and natural materials. Two types of marble and a similar number of wood types were harmoniously blended throughout the apartment! The lower floor features a wide public space, a split kitchen with several zones, and a family seating area at its center, along with a large living room with plenty of seating and a work nook.
On the upper floor, the bedrooms and guest rooms are located, where we also utilized natural materials with a rare style. All that was left for the clients was to live in the dream they envisioned.
